I have a 4 year old parakeet and his name his prettybird and he is bluegray and yellow and under his neck his feathers are gone and ou can see his bones is it becaus he's molting? thank you patty

Hi Patty. Is he your only bird or does he by chance share his cage with another bird? Where the feathers are missing, is it a spot that he can possibly reach with his own beak or is it up too high under his "chin"? How long as this been going on or did it seem to happen all of a sudden? Have you noticed any change at all in any of his behavior, (playing, eating, drinking, etc.) and have you noticed any change at all in the appearance of his droppings? This extra information will help me give you my best possible answer and advice. Thanks, Patricia
