My Male Parakeet is showing aggresion at my new female ...

My Male Parakeet is showing aggresion at my new female Parakeet. He will clean his self. Then she will go to clean her self then he will try to bite her. what can I do to stop this?

Hello. How long have you had each parakeet? Do you know for sure that there is one of each sex? Did you bring the newest one home and put it directly into the cage with the other one? Did they come from a pet store or breeder or where? Do you know how old the new bird is supposed to be? This extra information will help me give you my best advice and guidance. Thanks, Patricia
